How long will my order take to arrive?
All standard orders are shipped via Australia Post and are usually shipped within 24 – 48 hours. Exact delivery times will vary depending on your location. Generally you should receive your parcel within 5 days to all capital cities (this can take up to 10 days in regional and rural areas).
Please allow extra time for processing and shipping at peak times such as Christmas and Easter.
How much does shipping cost?
To make life easy for you we now offer flat rate shipping of $9.95 Australia-wide on all orders under $150 and free when you spend $150 or more in one transaction.
You will notice some large, heavy or fragile items are not eligable for regular or free shipping.This will be specified in the item description. If you proceed with the purchase we will email you a PayPal invoice for any additional shipping charges. Your item/s will not be sent until this is paid in full.
Alternatively, if you would like a shipping quote prior to purchase please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your full delivery address and we will obtain a quote for you.
All of our shipping options do not include insurance cover. In the event of loss or damage during transit, Happy Home will not be liable. If you wish to have your parcel insured you will need to specify this at the checkout and you will be required to the pay the additional charges associated with this. We recommend this service for expensive and/or delicate items.
Will my item be tracked?
Yes. We will keep you in the loop the whole way. Our standard shipping rate includes full tracking at no extra cost.
What if I need my item fast?
If you have a deadline which you need to receive your goods by we recommend you contact us first by either phone (02) 6862 2474 or email email@example.com to ensure that your required goods can reach you in time.
Can I use a discount code on sale stock?
Unfortunately no further discounts apply to our sale stock.
Are all items in stock?
Yes! If you are able to add an item to your shopping cart then it means we have it available either in-store or at our warehouse, ready to ship to you.
Very rarely, we may unexpectedly run out of something after you have placed your order. Should this happen we will let you know immediately and refund you for this item.
What is pre-order?
Sometimes popular or new items might be placed on ‘pre-order’. This means that you can secure your item before it arrives in stock. All items available for pre-order will have an arrival date listed within the product description. If you are purchasing other items that are available for immediate shipping, your full order will be held until your pre-ordered goods arrive. If you require some items to be sent immediately, you will need to complete the pre-ordered items as a separate transaction.
Can I make changes to my order?
Yes. We are more than happy for you to make changes or cancel an order an item or your order any time after placing it, provided it has not been shipped. We suggest that you contact us as soon as possible if you wish to do this, as any shipping fees to exchange items once your order has been dispatched will be the full responsibility of the purchaser.
Do you have afterpay?
Yes. Simply proceed to the checkout and select AFTERPAY as the payment method.
My item is a gift? Are you able to wrap it for me?
We LOVE giftwrapping goodies at Happy Home and we will go to all sorts of lengths to create a beautifully wrapped gift for you free of charge. We can even write in the card of your choice simply by leaving details in the comments section at the checkout.
What if I am purchasing multiple items?
We are still more than happy to giftwrap all your goods free of charge. Please ensure you have specified exactly what items are to be wrapped with together. Unfortunately we are unable to send multiple items to different locations. You will need complete separate transactions to do this.

We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and Happy Home gift vouchers.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. All international orders will be shipped via Australia Post. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org along with your full delivery address and we can obtain a shipping quote for you.
I’ve changed my mind. How do I return an item?
You are welcome to return any item within 7 days of receipt if you change your mind. We suggest you contact us via email email@example.com to organise this. You will be required to ship the item/s to us at your own expense. All items must be returned in new condition and in their original packaging. We will then email details of your store credit for the cost of the item. You can use your credit either online or in-store. Please note we will not refund shipping costs.
No exchange or refunds will be given for any items that have been purchased on sale.
If your item arrives later than you hoped for we are unable to provide a refund as we cannot guarantee shipping or delivery times. You are still welcome to return your item for a credit.
My item is damaged. What now?
If your item arrives in faulty condition or damaged please contact us with 7 days of receipt for details how to return your item for a replacement or refund. We promise we will do our best to sort this out for you as soon as possible. Unfortunately we are not able to reimburse you for goods damaged in transit unless you have paid for insurance.
Will I be required to sign for my order?
Yes. You will be required to sign for your order unless you have otherwise stated that you give the courier ‘Authority to Leave’ (see below). If you are no one is available to sign for your parcel, the courier will leave a card and make arrangements to attempt re-delivery at a more convenient time.
All ‘return to sender’ parcels incur a $30 non-refundable processing fee to resend. Similarly, if you would like to return the goods, the $30 processing fee will be deducted from any balance owing.
Can I request for my parcel to be left at unattended address?
Yes. Simply leave a note ‘Authority to Leave’ (preferably with details of where you would like the item left, e.g. front door / under carport / etc.) in the comments section at the checkout. These instructions will be passed on to the courier who is delivering your order. Please note that Happy Home accepts no responsibility for lost or damaged parcels.

These single shelves provide the ultimate in flexibility. The design ensures you can use an shelf from 90mm to 300mm deep and up to 1.5m wide. If you would like to make a super jumbo shelf we would suggest adding extra leather hangers to support the weight and prevent the wood sagging.... about every 900mm will do. The drop of the shelves will vary based on the depth of the shelf you use for example a 185mm deep shelf will have a drop of 370mm and a 300mm deep shelf 300mm drop.
There are heaps of ready made options available, check out your local Bunnings, Ikea or hardware store for great shelf options that you can just slip in to place.
